About Ellen Schwartzbard, MD
Dr. Ellen Schwartzbard received her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tufts University in Medford, MA before she realized she was really drawn to medicine. She attended University of Miami School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland where she was the administrative chief resident in her final year.
“Treating women of all ages from adolescence through the postmenopausal years makes every day interesting. It allows me to treat my patients with a variety of concerns including birth control, infertility, pregnancy and menopausal symptoms. My unique practice of following patients one-on-one throughout their pregnancy allows for individualized care and makes their delivery truly special. It has been especially rewarding to see my patients over time marry and then follow them throughout their pregnancies.”
