About Angela Guzman, MD

Dr. Guzman is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. She graduated from the Florida State University College of Medicine where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, as Administrative Chief Resident. While there, she was honored as a recipient of the special Leroy Raphel Teaching Award, an award provided to the resident who embodied Dr. Rapael’s ideal in learning, teaching, and leadership.

After completing her residency she worked for a private practice for 3 ½ years and subsequently transitioned into academic medicine. She currently has the honor of serving as the Associate Program Director for the UCF/ HCA Healthcare GME OB/GYN residency program. She loves mentoring, traveling, and volunteering. She is married and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two .rambunctious sons. Dr. Guzman is committed to providing the best quality care for all women.
