Dr. Ashley Lopez, an Ohio native, began her education at Youngstown State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then completed medical school at Ross University, graduating with honors. During medical school, Dr. Lopez developed a love for women’s health—the aspects of developing lifelong relationships, patient empowerment and education combined with the clinical knowledge and use of technical skill drew her to pursue specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Lopez went on to complete her residency and served as the chief resident at Central Michigan University. After residency, Dr. Lopez spent a year gaining further experience in fetal ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, and fetal diagnostics with a focus on high-risk pregnancies at the Perinatology Research Branch in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Lopez is interested in and provides treatment for all aspects of women’s health including pregnancy and childbirth, reproductive health, infertility, menopause, hormone therapy, family planning, sexually transmitted infections, pelvic inflammatory conditions, and women’s preventive care. She is trained in minimally invasive and robotic techniques and highly motivated to provide progressive, evidence-based care to the women of the community.
Dr. Lopez is dedicated to a patient-centered and individualized approach to care for each woman she sees. She is extremely committed to ensuring each patient feels that their pregnancy is as unique and important for her as it is for you. She takes a great sense of pride in developing a personal connection with all her patients and their families. Dr. Lopez currently delivers at Winter Haven Women’s Hospital and sees patients at Winter Haven Hospital.
