Dr. Anthony Gyang is Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology and Focused practice designated as a Minimally invasive gynecology surgery specialist (MIGS). He is fellowship trained in chronic pelvic pain management and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at his practice, Osceola Gynecology. Dr. Gyang is an expert in chronic pelvic pain, robotic, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and reconstructive vaginal surgery.
Dr. Gyang has over a decade of experience with the use of robotic surgery to perform a hysterectomy, myomectomy, sacrocolpopexy, complex endometriosis procedures. In-office procedures he performs in the office include hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, cystoscopy, endometrial ablation, urodynamics, ultrasound, and aesthetics. He provides the most advanced therapies for chronic pelvic pain to include Rheo allograft, Sola therapy, pudendal nerve block, trigger point injection.
He provides care to include well-woman exams, contraceptive care management, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, prolapse, and incontinence.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Ghana, Dr. Gyang obtained a postgraduate certificate in gynecology ultrasound from the University of Cardiff in the United Kingdom. He completed an internship at Howard University Hospital, then finished his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore. For the final step in his training, Dr. Gyang completed a fellowship in chronic pelvic pain and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Florida Hospital Orlando.
Dr. Gyang participates in Gynecological research as a principal investigator and has been involved in numerous studies. Dr. Gyang stays active in education by training residents from the University of Central Florida and is a reviewer for scientific journals. He’s a fellow of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also maintains active membership in the International Pelvic Pain Society.
