Bijal Patel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at The Women’s Center, which has locations in Orlando, St. Cloud, Altamonte Springs, Oviedo, Ocoee, Winter Park and Celebration, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Florida and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at University of Central Florida in 2012 and 2014, respectively. After graduating nursing school, she got accepted into University of Florida’s Pediatric Pulmonary Center’s Leadership Training Program where she received training to become a leader in maternal and child health. Soon after, she embarked her nursing career as a Registered Nurse on the cardiac unit with Orlando Health for four years. Bijal decided to further her studies at University of South Florida where she completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Health Nursing, in which she graduated with high honors. She developed her passion for women’s health during her women’s health clinical rotation.
With her passion for women’s health and her education, Bijal strives to provide exceptional care to patients using a holistic approach—treating the patient both body and mind. Her goal is to make patients feel comfortable and empowered to make informed decisions about their health while providing patient-focused care.
Bijal is a Florida native; she was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area and has made Orlando her home. In her spare time, she enjoys challenging herself with puzzles, baking, and creating new homemade dishes fusing both Indian and American cuisines.
