About Carol Roth, CNM, DNP

Carol Roth, CNM, DNP, grew up in southwest New Mexico, where she graduated from nursing school and entered the field of obstetrics as a new nurse in labor and delivery. There, she was introduced to the path that would define her life. She has moved around the United States and its territories, gaining a rich diversity of obstetrical nursing experience and advanced education in the care of women over the past two decades, including five years as an obstetrical nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She says that by far the most valuable experience of all has been creating and learning from three awesome boys of her own. After some time spent out of the workforce raising a family, she resumed pursuit of her dream of being a midwife and received a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. Most recently, she lived and worked as a certified nurse midwife in the U.S. Virgin Islands on the island of St. Croix. Island life offered her great opportunities to engage in all the things she loves: scuba diving, hiking, dancing, yoga and of course, supporting and empowering women. She is excited to be a new resident of Southwest Florida and to expand and share her knowledge and skills alongside an amazing group of physicians and practitioners to provide the best experience in women’s care.
