Daniel McDyer, MD, FACOG, is an experienced OB/GYN at Florida Woman Care of Jacksonville. During his many years as a practicing physician, he has helped thousands of women achieve their wellness goals. He works to ensure that his patients always have the information they need to make educated treatment decisions.
Dr. McDyer first enrolled at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, and completed a degree in chemistry with cum laude honors. After deciding to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. McDyer attended the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa and performed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida Health Jacksonville. During his residency, he also served as the administrative chief resident.
After completing his medical training, Dr. McDyer moved to Mount Dora, Florida, and entered private practice for four years, but his heart was still in Jacksonville, and it wasn’t long before he returned. Today, Dr. McDyer has been practicing in the Jacksonville area for more than 20 years.
Throughout his career, Dr. McDyer has established himself as a leader in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was the Section 2 Chairman of District 12 of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists from February 2017 – October 2020. He’s also president of the Jacksonville OB/GYN Society and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. McDyer strives to help patients resolve a wide range of obstetric and gynecological problems. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery, menstrual issues, urinary incontinence, and treatment for infertility. Dr. McDyer knows that cutting-edge technology helps improve patient outcomes. He works to ensure that patients have access to up-to-date therapies and practices.
When he isn’t assisting patients, Dr. McDyer enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for astronomy, theoretical physics, and athletics.
