Dr. Eric Runyon is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist providing excellent health care to his patients in Miami since 2001. He earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University, Florida and completed his residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center, CA. In addition he holds a Master of Public Health degree. Dr. Runyon is very passionate about providing the highest level of care to his patients. He enjoys the diversity of obstetrics and gynecology, allowing him to participate in management of medical issues from adolescence through geriatrics.
Dr. Runyon has a special interest in both medical and surgical aspects of all areas of gynecology. He treats all issues related to gynecology including menopause, hormone replacement therapy, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, family planning, pelvic pain, infertility and screening for cervical and breast cancer. Dr. Runyon performs minimally invasive surgery including robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic techniques. He has a special interest in office procedures such as hysteroscopies and colposcopies. He also enjoys treating all aspects of obstetrics including both low and high risk obstetrics.
Dr. Runyon is very active in the medical community and is a fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has also served as Chairman for the department of Women and Children’s Services at Kendall Regional Medical Center.
He enjoys teaching medical students and resident physicians that rotate through his practice on a daily basis. He also enjoys spending time with his family and two daughters.
