About James Sorensen, DO

Dr. Sorensen is board-certified through the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecology. He is originally from Utah but relocated to Celebration, FL. Dr. Sorensen graduated with his bachelor’s degree in arts from the University Of Utah in 2010. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on women’s lives, Dr. Sorensen pursed his doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. After completing medical school, Dr. Sorensen embarked on his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Osceola Regional Medical Center. In 2017 he recieved an award for excellence in obstetrics and gynecology, from Osceola Regional Medical Center and was selected for excellence in clinical care, professionalism and teamwork.

Dr. Sorensen is very committed to providing the best care for his patients as well as educating them and giving them all of the necessary information they need to make health decisions. Dr. Sorensen is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologist (ACOOG). In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
