Melanie Baez, PA-C MPAS is a board certified Physician Assistant by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is originally from Miami, Fl but has made Orlando, Fl her forever home. Melanie graduated with her Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her post-baccalaureate years, Melanie worked as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department as well as in a Family Medicine clinic. When she wasn’t in the hospital or the clinic you could find her at the dance studio teaching and choreographing dance routines for young children.
Melanie went on to complete her Master’s of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Suwanee, GA. During her clinical year, she provided care and Spanish translation to underserved communities earring her the President’s Leadership in Diversity Award. She has a passion for helping others and educating patients on how to optimize their health. She strives to create a safe environment for patients to share their concerns so that long lasting provider-patient relationships can take place.
Melanie loves to spend her free time hanging out with her husband, family and friends. Her hobbies include salsa dancing, reading, and pilates.
