About Michael Bartfield, MD
Michael C. Bartfield, M.D., has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Orlando since 1998, and is a founding associate of PrimeOBGYN. He is a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and diplomate of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bartfield earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, where he served as chief administrative resident.
Dr. Bartfield’s expertise lies in general and high-risk obstetrics, general gynecology, female preventive medicine, and in-office procedures. He directs the office ultrasound department and performs obstetric nuchal translucency ultrasound interpretation.
Dr. Bartfield is a member of the Florida Medial Association and Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, and is an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He has served as Chairman of The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Orlando Health since 2022.
