About Michelle McElhiney, ARNP
As a Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years serving women at all stages of life, Michelle began her career with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in 2000. She then went on to earn her Masters of Nursing degree from Emory University in 2002.
After 14 years practicing in OB/GYN, she then obtained her post-Masters in Adult Gerontology Acute Care. With this advanced degree, she expanded into the field of Rheumatology, and continued in that specialty for the next four years. She brought her expertise in the treatment for postmenopausal osteoporosis to Delray OB/GYN in 2018.Her passion for geriatric gynecology is a unique asset to the practice.
Michelle holds dual board certifications from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Midwifery Certification
