About Pete Papapanos, MD
Dr. Pete Papapanos is a native of Grosse Pointe, Michigan and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He graduated from Wayne State School of Medicine, and completed his residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He then pursued additional training in pelvic floor reconstruction and female incontinence in London and Plymouth, England. He joined the teaching faculty at St John Hospital and the faculty at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan. He was also a clinical assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
He practices general obstetrics and gynecology and has a special interest in the treatment of female urinary incontinence. He is currently a teaching physician for FSU medical students. He is also fluent in the Greek language. Dr. Papapanos understands that visiting a gynecologist is not always the most exciting event in a woman’s life and strives to make each patient feel comfortable with explaining their concerns about their healthcare. His experience in the area of incontinence allows him the additional opportunity to give patients the assurance that they will receive the total quality of care that is promised to all patients at Physicians To Women.
Dr. Papapanos and his family reside in Palm City. He enjoys watersports and activities, reading, and values spending time with his family most of all.
