With more than 15 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, board-certified ob-gyn Sarah DiGiorgi, MD, FACOG, offers skilled care in all areas of women’s health.
Dedicated to providing the quality of care each woman deserves, Dr. DiGiorgi is trained and experienced in the latest medical advancements, including daVinci® robotics for minimally invasive surgeries, NovaSure® endometrial ablation to control heavy menstrual bleeding, and MonaLisa Touch® for vaginal atrophy.
She helps patients suffering from uterine fibroids, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and more. Dr. DiGiorgi supports and encourages patients in vaginal deliveries and Trial of Labor after C-Section (TOLAC), when needed. She performs gentle C-sections to maximize comfort and to help patients feel more involved during the birth. Compassionate care and patient well-being are her top priorities.
Dr. DiGiorgi has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Fort Myers since 2007. Her greatest satisfaction at work is seeing her patients year after year, guiding them through their pregnancies, managing birth control, and discussing personal struggles with intimacy. She also finds it gratifying to provide routine preventative care, cancer screening and prevention, and to perform gynecologic surgery when needed. Her personal connections with her patients and being able to care for them over time is the reason she chose gynecology in medical school. Dr. DiGiorgi is also a devoted wife, as well as a mother to three children, three German shepherds, three chickens, a cat and a horse!
